- excited about uni in approximately 2 weeks
- gutted i'm leaving waterstone's store 686
- guilty about buying another bag from ebay
- sleepy from having fake-gladular fever (i have the same virus but a different strain - great :])
Despite feeling a bit wiped out from my virus it's been a good few weeks of coffee and cinema dates. I spent the remainder of my pay check on fancy bags, moleskine diary and notebooks, Jamie's America, thigh high boots and other extravagant topshop purchases.
My parents and i went down to London this past weekend, my mum and i thought it was just a run of the mill trip down but my dad surprised us with the news that he'd booked for us to stay at the same hotel we stayed at for my 18th birthday weekend. We strolled around the uni on the sunday as my mum hadn't seen it yet. She seemed to really like it and i can't wait to be back there full time.
I'm now back in work after a week of absence, i really don't want to leave my little waterstone's family and i'm fully intent on returning over christmas. I could not have asked for better colleagues, they will always be golden :)
In my time off i did however become very obsessed with Dawn Landes' latest album. I've also finally found a cookie recipe that makes massive squidgy chocolate chips cookies like supermarket ones but cheaper and easy to make - heaven!
It's practically autumn - time for a new coat maybe. I had to recommend 3 autumnal books in work - this was much much harder than i thought it would be.
I wish Gossip Girl series 3 would hurry up and get onto tv, i miss you Chuck Bass
I finally got skype so i plan on having as many internet coffee dates with my lovely lovely friends as possible once we're in opposite ends of the country. I also plan on cramming in as many hours as i can with them pre-London.Yayy excited :D
Much love
Tzeitel
