Sawaddi Ka

This week has been both productive and fun :)

I've seen many of the people i love thanks to a windfall in people returning from uni.
I spent an evening playing scrabble and whooping Caitlin's ass at draughts.
I also spent a day with the wonderful Nicola Ann Carter who i had missed an awful lot whilst she's been up in Leeds being a brainbox. We had lunch at Blue Juice and did attempt to see Lady Farrimond but she was nowhere to be found.
Wednesday was a crazy day spent with houmous, an insane amount of snacks and 2 very lovely best friends. Tash and Sarah came to my house for cheesy girlie films (Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging, Wild Child & St Trinians), despite my slighty too boomtastic sound system we had a super day. The only thing missing from the day was Mr McWilliam who is still down in the big smoke - he was greatly missed yesterday :(

Last night was Lauren's birthday meal at O'Este, i sat surrounded by Amy, Caitlin, Sarah and Neave so it's fair to say it was a very good night. It was really good to see the twins again, i'd missed them loads and we got all excited for Wales BUT i am seriously gutted Neave isn't coming to Wales with us - it was really sweet to see her again last night :)

As for the productive side of this week i'm virtually all sorted out for my volunteering next year, once it's all sorted i can actually start fundraising which should be fun/ interesting. I'm getting better with my languages, seeing as though i can actually recall some of them off the top of my head now - yayy! I'm not even going attempt being even semi-fluent in any of them but if can at least master the basics of most of them i'll be happy. I'm also in the process of sorting out my volunteering for after 2nd year too which i'm still working on. BusyBusyBee.

All in all it's been a good week, it has however had a teeny gray cloud hanging over certain aspects and i can't help wishing that girl laws applied to more than just ex-boyfriends. I still think some people are labouring under that false pretences that i don't still own that territory (p.s. this is in no way related to boys :) )

Aside from that i'm as happy as Larry.
