DND- PNAU

Bon Soir :)

My week has been crazaaay! I've managed to squeeze in 27.5 hours of work at the Marina, see Cobra Starship, see Coyle, Jack and Gabi, Celebrate Dawn's 19th and see Hey Monday.
The weekend was the busiest part.
Friday i was a day off and i went to see Cobra Starship with Coyle. We stopped for a cuppa at Jabbi's pad first which was really cool. After figuring out where we were going we got there, i bought a t-shirt, we saw a really pervy support act who were just basically hitting on 5 girls at the very front. Cobra finally came on at 9:50 and it was amazing. Coyle was really patient and sweet to come with me because he's not a fan, i however loved every second of it and as planned, they kicked my kaboose :)

Saturday i worked 12 - 4:30 then hit the road to Manchester again but to see Hey Monday this time!!! I absolutely loved it, Gabe and Cassadee both within 24hrs - hoorah! They only played a half hour set but just seeing them again (twice in 2 months) was really cool and really unexpected. I didn't buy the tickets until Thursday but it was worth every penny.

I have lame phone videos of both nights i shall upload at a later date (when i can be bothered :) )

Sunday i worked from 10:30 - 5:30 and it was absolute bedlam, sunshine + bank holiday + marina = mental! I finally made it to Dawn's at half 6/ quarter to 7. I felt so bad that i was so late, silly work. We went to Pizza Hut and decided we're going to spend summer on a houseboat because "everything is better on a houseboat." Sadly they had very little of the ingredients i.e. salad, roasted peppers, mushrooms and small deep pan pizza bases (i got a medium for the price of a small though!). The 7up was clearly sparkling water but all that aside it was a very good meal. I ate faaaar too much but thankfully we had to walk all way across town back to the car, making me feel less guilty.
We then went back to Dawn's, ate more sweets, watched Notting Hill, composed the world's greatest song about Dawn's dog, laughed at weird troll people and just generally had fun :) It was a really good night and it was a perfect antidote to a stressful day.

Beyond the Valley of the Dolls was on Film4 on Saturday night when i got in, it's one bizarre cheesy movie that i have seen far too many times and i own it on dvd but it's so bad it's good.

Today has been sunny which is good except that it made the Marina even busier than yesterday, people were getting angry and moody, it was total chaos but to make things worse i felt really sick and ended up leaving early due to feeling sick and just plain rotten. I've spent the rest of my day chilling out, gave myself a facial, watched Sleeping Beauty and Saved by the Bell which just so happens to be the ideal remedy for feeling yucky. My boss John rang later this afternoon to check i was ok which was insanely sweet, i might be back in work again tomorrow but i hope i'll have a day off just to chill, tidy .etc.

I need to stop watching In The Land of Women, i've seen it 3 times, just this week. It is however, the only time i've ever seen Kristin Stewart actually smile or look in any way happy. Adam Brody is hottt though so it makes up for a lot.

Right, i'm off to watch BNTM and catch up on Hollyoaks (god bless sky+).
Anyone else seriously happy it's semi-summer? :)
Love.
